Un-Limited Motorsport to miss the 2026 BTCC season

Un-Limited Motorsport announced earlier today that they will not run in the 2026 British Touring Car Championship.

The team had secured two licences for the upcoming season, but due to a main sponsor loss, they can not compete.

The team started their campaign last season from the now-disbanded Team HARD. They started the season with three drivers in Nicholas Hamilton, Dexter Patterson and Max Hall.

Hall parted ways with Un-Limited in July of 2025 after he released a statement explaining why he was leaving and that it was ‘entirely his choice’.

In a team statement, Un-Limited said: “Un-Limited Motorsport confirms that it will not be competing in the 2026 British Touring Car Championship season.

“This difficult decision follows the withdrawal of our title sponsorship programme, driven by the current economic climate.”

With a team gone, will another team come in to save the day, or will we be two drivers down on the grid for the 2026 season?
