Adam Morgan has officially signed for Plato Racing for the 2026 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
Last year, he joined Excelr8 Motorsport from WSR after competing with the team since 2023.

The 37-year-old has a wealth of experience in the BTCC, with his debut coming in 2012 with Speedworks Motorsport.
With 5 podiums just last season and many wins previously, he joins Plato Racing with the hopes of winning a championship.
Speaking to BTCC, Morgan said: “JP knows how to win championships and get the best not just out of the car but also out of the team, and you can already see that clearly in how he has gone about setting up Plato Racing.
This is unbelievably exciting. Joining Plato Racing and being a part of a brand new team, brand new car, and a whole new way of approaching the BTCC is incredible.”
Jason Plato, Owner of Plato Racing, said: “I’m thrilled to have Adam join my team. He has vast experience and has proved he can win BTCC races with his 11 wins and 47 podiums.
“Just like I expect from Dan, I also believe that Adam will be a true force at the sharp end in the BTCC this year.”
Plato Racing and NAPA Racing are the two teams so far to complete their lineups for the 2026 BTCC season.
The Touring cars get back underway at Donington Park on 18-19th April 2026. Who will we see take the championship? Will it be reigning champion Tom Ingram, or will Ash Sutton ruin the party and get his fifth title?
