British Superbike wildcard entry to make debut season in 2026

After competing with NP Racing at the season finale at Brands Hatch in 2024 as their wildcard entry, Tompson will make his full-season debut in 2026 with them.

The 23-year-old from Surrey made his debut in 2023 in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship.

He continued in the championship in 2024 until he made his debut in BSB at Brands Hatch.

Tompson missed last year, but is looking to come back better than ever in a new team and as a rookie on the BSB grid.

Tompson is the fourth rookie confirmed for the 2026 season.

Speaking to BSB, Neil Pearson, team owner, said: “I am pleased to welcome him back to the team and give him a chance to show what he can do over a full season.

“When Connor wildcarded for the team in 2024, he showed grit and determination on the mammoth task he undertook.”

Also speaking to BSB, Tompson said: “Getting to be on the Superbike grid for my debut season in BSB is a moment I’ve worked towards for so many years.

“This year is all about growth, learning every session, improving every lap, and building strong momentum with the team.”

The BSB season is set to kick off at Oulton Park, 3rd-5th May, with their first official test day at Donington Park, 3rd-4th April.
